Penumbra
Hello! I am Penumbra – a wearable art designer with a passion for modern pop culture. In other words, am what you get when you combine a master’s degree in theatre costume design with over 14 years of experience in the world of cosplay.
I’ve had the pleasure of both judging and competing in all around the globe, with my proudest achievement in the field being the 2024 WCS “Best Costume” award.
While I’m no longer active in the competitive scene, my focus has shifted toward incorporating cosplay elements into fashion and vice versa.
I am beyond excited to meet the cosplayers of Slovenia and admire their craftsmanship. See you at NMN!
Pandora
Hey everyone! My name is Pandora, on social media I am more so known as your friendly Targaryen cosplayer, but otherwise I’ve been deep in the cosplay world since 2014, and for the past 6 years I’ve had the absolute honor of visiting multiple countries, (and now Slovenia as well!!) serving as a judge or a special guest at conventions across the scene.
Most recently, I’ve been stepping on stage as your cosplay contestant show announcer — bringing the hype, the laughs, and all the chaotic good energy I can muster! The best part? I got to meet so many incredible cosplayers and this weekend I am looking forward to meeting you at Na Meji Nevidnega!
Klarux Cosplay
Hi, I’m Klarux Cosplay, and I’ve been cosplaying since 2014. I’ve been part of the NMN cosplay team since 2019, and I absolutely love bringing characters to life.
I spend a lot of time making my own cosplays, but I also really enjoy creating costumes for others—it makes me super happy to see people wear something I made. My favourite thing is designing original characters (OCs), where I can add my own little twist and creativity to each design.
As a judge, I’m really excited to see everyone’s hard work, creativity, and passion on stage!
Proteus
Hi! I’m Proteus and I’ve been cosplaying and making my own costumes since 2017. My main interests involve sewing and other textile crafts, like weaving and embroidery, as well as leather-working and jewellery making. I also like sculpting and creating things from resin.
I enjoy working on cosplays with a history-inspired design and I often try to research period-appropriate materials and construction methods for them.
In 2025 I entered my first cosplay competition and won Best in Show, and I represented Slovenia at the international Cosplay Championship Cup competition.
